Spam Prevention

NetworxHosting.com’s advanced Spam & Virus Prevention System provides users with a powerful, easy-to-use solution to stop SPAM & Viruses from ever reaching their e-mail inboxes. The SPAM Prevention filter learns not only from your individual choices but the choices of all users on the system, making it far more powerful than any filter that relies solely on a single user's choices.

Many of the SPAM Prevention programs or solutions available today have 2 major flaws:

1. They eat legitimate important e-mail from family, friends or business associates.
2. Although they might work well, they are difficult to manage, setup and configure

Our innovative solution has addressed both of these issues:

1. All e-mail that is filtered as SPAM and isn’t sent directly to your inbox is stopped and sits in a “TRAP” until you login to our website and tell the SPAM Prevention server what to do with the message. This allows you to review messages and be sure you never loose an important message to your SPAM software again. The simple, browser accessible quarantine lets you review its choices and quickly approve or deny them making it easy to use and manage.

2. Our SPAM Prevention system is 97% accurate from the moment it is installed, in fact less than 1% of our customers who use it ever make any setup or configuration changes at all… so you don’t have to worry about learning new software or settings! And, if you do need some extra help, our support team can handle any of your SPAM setting issues you need addressed for you!

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is SPAM?
E-mail SPAM, also known as "bulk e-mail" or "junk e-mail," is a type of SPAM that involves nearly identical messages sent to numerous recipients by e-mail. A common synonym for SPAM is unsolicited bulk e-mail (UBE). Definitions of spam usually include the aspects that email is unsolicited and sent in bulk. "UCE" refers specifically to "unsolicited commercial e-mail."

How Our System Works:

Once your Advanced SPAM prevention is enabled, you will receive a login via e-mail to manage all e-mail addresses at your domain. Multiple domain users will have a separate login for each domain.

To access your new online filter management system, simply go to http://canit.hostserve.net, There you will log in using the domain you wish to manage and the password provided in an email to be sent once the upgrade is complete.

Basic settings for the strength of the filter are available on the main screen under "Filtering Aggressiveness".

A list of Pending messages is also displayed on the main screen, allowing you accept, reject, or do nothing to the individual messages.

The "Trap Contents" menu item will display a list of any messages the filter processed, and provides a drop down menu with various whitelist/blacklist options based on the email contents and origins.

Primary Whitelist/blacklist functionality is available through the "Rules" menu item.

Rules can be setup to deal with individual senders, domains and hosts, as well as filename extensions for attachments and other criteria.

"Reports" provides summary statistics on the spam the filter has trapped.

"Preferences" allows modification of the interface, password, rules, and more detailed filter settings.
Please review the provided User's Guide in the system to learn more about these preferences before making any changes. The default preferences perform well for most users. A complete manual is available through the "User's Guide" link at the top of the interface once you have logged in. The full User's Guide URL is: http://canit.hostserve.net/canit/CanIt-Domain-PRO-Users-Guide.pdf
